Description: Magang Iron and Steel Company is the financial center of Maanshan City in China. This Company is the backbone of the whole city. People’s life here are all have connections with this company few decades ago. The workers of Magang Company’s factory from last century are almost all got cancer and passed away around their 60 because of the radioactive element that the factory produced. My grandfather is one of the engineer worked for this factory. The purpose of the film is for bringing up the issue of the balance between Social development and individual sacrifice. The film express the issue through the family stories and the significant impact of the company for city development.
